Our Mission:
Operation Aware equips youth, through prevention education, with the knowledge and skills to make positive life choices.
The goal of our classes is:
To provide drug and violence prevention education to children and teens in the classroom from pre-kindergarten through high school. We share a strong, clear message with young people that their choices today about drugs, alcohol and tobacco can have lifelong consequences for their health, safety and wellbeing. We teach students techniques that help them resist negative peer pressure and make positive decisions that move them toward their goals and dreams and away from high risk behaviors.
