Partnership Makes Prevention Possible

Operation Aware’s work is made possible through strong relationships with schools, public agencies, health organizations, foundations, businesses and community supporters. Together, we help turn prevention priorities, partnerships and funding into high-quality programming that reaches students.

Our United Way Partnership

Operation Aware is proud to be a Tulsa Area United Way partner agency. United Way’s foundational investment provides the stability and capacity OA needs to deliver consistent prevention education, respond to school needs and pursue new opportunities to serve students.

As our work grows, United Way remains an essential partner in keeping prevention programming affordable and accessible for schools and communities.

School Partnerships

OA works directly with school districts, administrators, counselors and classroom teachers to plan and deliver prevention education that responds to student and grade-level needs.

Our school partners provide the time, access and collaboration needed to reach students consistently and create meaningful classroom experiences.

Prevention and Community Collaboration

OA collaborates with public agencies, health organizations, coalitions and community nonprofits to align prevention efforts, share expertise and connect resources with schools.

These relationships help move community and statewide prevention priorities from planning into classroom action.

Funding and Community Support

Foundations, grantmakers, opioid-abatement funders, corporate sponsors and individual donors help bridge the gap between the cost of delivering high-quality prevention education and what schools can afford.

Their support helps ensure prevention dollars reach students—especially in schools and communities with limited resources.
